2010 T-Ball Night at Bantam Red Grey Classic 2009 SOBA Intact House League Tournament 2009 Intact Rookie Championship was held here at Brockridge Park, we had two teams participating, Pickering Village Source for Sports (team 1), John Jennings coaching and Boyer, (team 3) coached by Malcolm Whiteford, Boyer made it to the semi finals and Source made it to the final game played a great game but lost by one run to the Mahoney Bears (Hamilton). Kevin Staines on the Pickering Village Source for Sports was awarded "Best offensive Player of the Tournament"! Team spirit was displayed throughout the tournament. Thanks everyone you made Pickering proud. Intact Tyke/Mosquito was held in Etobicoke, and Double V, (team 2) coached by Steve Jarvis attended the tournament, Double V made it all the way to the Semi Finals… Go Double V, you are the best thanks. Intact Peewee was held in Bolton, Travel Only (team 6) coached by Jim Takata attended the tournament in Bolton and represented Pickering proudly. Thanks Travel Only. The players really step up to the challenge of a great tournament, and can play up to 4 games in one day… a lot different than House League. Thanks to John for all the goodies and Elena for doing such a great job organizing the evening.
