TrainingHOUSE LEAGUE TRAINING 2008Bob Johnston, Director of Coach and Player Development has been working hard to ensure that our house league membership will have ample opportunity to upgrade their skills.
For Players: - House League will enjoy some indoor sessions at Dunbarton HS (Whites & Sheppard) in the small gym. These sessions are free and members are welcome to attend on a drop in basis. Coaches are welcome to bring their teams to get them ready to play. Please let Gail Sharpe vphouseleague@pickeringbaseball.ca, know if you will be attending. Dates TBA
- In the early spring and throughout the season, small group sessions can be set up for interested players, please contact Don at playerdevelopment@pickeringbaseball.ca
- Division practices were introduced in 2006; and were very successful. Our thanks to our Rep Division for their help. This year we hope to increase our sessions, for Rookie, Tyke, Peewee and Bantam members. We will also run the Rally Cap programme for the Blastball and Tball Divisions. These training days will be held on regularly scheduled practice days, exact dates TBA. The sessions will involve all members of each Division going to different stations working at various skills. Each station will have expert help available.
- During the season Pitching and Hitting Clinics will be set up, days and times TBA.
For Coaches: - Coaches are welcome to contact Don anytime, to come out to a game or practice to advise and/or assist.
All training will be for skills upgrading purposes only, the more you know, the more FUN you have.
